Virtual cards for Facebook and Instagram ads
Fund a card with USDT, BTC or a bank transfer, add it to your ad account's billing, and keep every ad account on its own card with its own limit.
Can I use a virtual card for Facebook ads?
Yes. Meta accepts many debit and credit cards, including virtual cards, as a payment method for ad accounts. GetVCC cards are built for ad payments, but Meta makes the final decision on every payment, so no provider can guarantee acceptance. If a payment fails, GetVCC shows you the reason.
What you get
One card per ad account
If one card is declined or frozen, your other ad accounts keep spending.
Limits that match budgets
Set each card's limit to the ad account's budget so a billing spike can't drain your wallet.
Fund with crypto or bank
Top up with USDT, BTC or a bank transfer, then move funds to the card in seconds.
3-D Secure codes
If Meta asks you to confirm a payment, the one-time code appears in your dashboard.
Decline reasons
See whether a failed charge was declined by the card issuer or not sent by Meta at all.
Works for Instagram too
Instagram ads are billed through the same Meta ad account, so the same card covers both.
How Facebook ads billing works
Meta offers two main ways to pay for ads, and which ones you see depends on your country, currency and account.
With automatic payments, Meta charges your card after you run ads, either when your spend reaches a billing threshold or on your monthly bill date. With manual payments, you add funds to the ad account first and ads run until that balance is used up.
Either way, keep the card's balance and limit above the charges you expect. A threshold charge that lands on a card with too little balance is the most common reason ads stop delivering.
| Meta setting | What it means | Card setup that works |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic payments | Meta charges the card after ads run, at a threshold or on your bill date | Card limit above the threshold, with balance topped up ahead of time |
| Manual payments | You add funds to the ad account before ads run | Card balance at least equal to the amount you add |
Options differ by country, currency and account. Check your ad account's Payment settings for what applies to you.

How to add a virtual card to a Facebook ad account
The exact screens change from time to time, but the steps are the same.
- Create a card in GetVCC, name it after the ad account and set its limit.
- Move enough funds from your wallet to cover the first charge.
- In Meta Ads Manager, open Billing & payments (Payment settings) for the ad account and choose to add a payment method.
- Enter the card number, expiry, security code and the billing name and address shown in your card details.
- If asked, confirm the payment with the 3-D Secure code from your dashboard.

When a Facebook ads payment fails
Most failures come from a low card balance or limit, a billing address that doesn't match, an unfinished 3-D Secure step, or Meta's own risk checks. The first three you can fix yourself. The last is Meta's decision.
Our decline guide explains each case and the fix, and your dashboard shows the reason for every declined payment we receive.
Use cards the right way
Use cards only for ad accounts you're allowed to run. Cards don't help get around a platform's policies or bans, and using them that way breaks our acceptable use policy.

About GetVCCAcceptance and fair use
Ad platforms and merchants decide which payments they accept, so no card provider can guarantee acceptance. Cards are for legitimate advertising and business payments only, never for getting around a platform's rules or bans.

Facebook ads card FAQ
Meta accepts many cards for ads, but acceptance of prepaid cards varies. Funded virtual cards work like debit cards. Check your ad account's payment settings, and if a card is declined, see the reason in your dashboard.
Not directly. Meta charges cards and other supported methods. With GetVCC, you top up with USDT or BTC and pay Meta with a virtual card funded from that balance.
Either automatically, when spend reaches a billing threshold or on your monthly bill date, or manually, by adding funds before ads run. Which options you see depends on your country and account.
Instagram ads are run and billed through a Meta ad account, so you add the card to that ad account's payment settings, exactly as for Facebook ads.
Look for one card per ad account, per-card limits, fast top-ups, 3-D Secure support, clear decline reasons, published fees and a named card issuer. Avoid any provider that promises guaranteed acceptance.
